A life group is an opportunity for a more personal level of discipleship and fellowship. At Discover Church we recommend that every Christian has more than one point of contact per week. The weekend service is the main point of contact for all Christians. Life groups provide another point of contact usually in a Christian home (but also on campus). In a smaller environment you can share personal stories, prayer requests, Biblical questions, not to mention good food!

Life groups is where people get to know you and you get to know God's will on a personal level.

Presently we have hosts running life groups in: Berwick, Springvale South, and Deer Park. There's probably one near you!

What if I want to start a life group? It's easy for a church member to start a life group as we have excellent video curriculum which you can run. You don't need to be a Bible teacher have effective life groups. Some of our curriculum include Ray Comfort's school of evangelism, Creation Ministries videos, Pastor Steve's 4000 Years of History, End Times, Discipleship, etc. We even have Alpha in Thai. All you need is a love for people and a video player. We can get you started by first shadowing (or following) a current life group host.
